What this site is all about

Whether you're a jazz guitarist, a classical pianist, or a rock singer, your health and wellbeing as a musician is of prime importance. As a music student, with stressful exams and constant rehearsals on top of your other commitments, sometimes practising and performing conditions are less than perfect.

This network is a supportive environment which aims to help you understand how and why your body functions as it does, how playing- or singing-related injury may be avoided, and above all, how to achieve the highest standards of performance. Thanks for being a part of it.

And... enjoy your music making!

This network is endorsed by the National Council of Tertiary Music Schools (NACTMUS) and is maintained by Queensland Conservatorium Research Centre.

For more information, visit the QCRC website, or contact Catherine Grant at qcrc@griffith.edu.au.
